  I can't believe I am leaving a 1 star review..  but here it goes. We chose Frankie's for my husbands birthday dinner - we chose them for the overall high reviews, amount of reviews, and they have fresh steak and seafood (supposedly). I didn't think we would have an issue on a Thursday night but last minute I decided to call and double check just in case and made a reservation just for security. When we get to the restaurant it's got a great vibe and we ask to be seated outside. We get brought some water and some menus. I ask about the specials and am informed there are none except an asparagus soup... oh and there is NO SEAFOOD, they refused their delivery. Why wouldn't this be mentioned at reservation time or when we arrived?
  
  We figure we're here let's make the best of it. Our waitress came back and since it had been a little while we went ahead and ordered out drinks, appetizers and meals. We ordered the meatball appetizer and dates wrapped in bacon, and for entrees chicken fettuccine, Cajun chicken and steak with rosemary potatoes and soup, and a beet salad for the table to share. Well... The drinks came out at the same time as our appetizers... AND OUR ENTREES. My soup was cold, the steak had no seasoning, the potatoes had no rosemary or salt/pepper, we never got our beet salad we ordered, and I think our food was reheated under the broiler because the plate was so hot, the food on the bottom was so cold, and there was nothing to melt. They offered us 50% off but I feel it wasn't satisfactory for such a failed birthday dinner! I don't think I will be trying them again!

  Amazing environment... food is absolutely amazing and abundant in portions.
  We had the calamari starter
  Spaghetti and veal meatballs
  Jambalaya was on point!
  
  All in all, recommend this restaurant anytime

  What a disappointment!   Went in for my sons 21st bday.  Made reservations and our table wasn't ready.  We were sat by the front door.  Most of the menu was not available and it wasn't until after we ordered that we were told. Cold and/or flavorless food, rotten tomatoes on the salad and the kitchen actually burned spaghetti and meatballs so bad that we were told it had to be remade.  It came out 20 minutes later!  And a $40 steak that had the texture of being re-heated and was still barely warm when it arrived? This is not the same place I ate at a couple years ago.  What a waste of $$$.  I should have trusted the other negative reviews.  In other news we did have a pretty good laugh at it all and will remember it forever...It actually border-lined on absurd so all we could do was laugh!!!  Here's hoping that the make up dinner makes up for his horrible bday celebration.

  Frankie's is one of my all time favorite restaurants. Yes a bit on the higher side for price but you get what you pay for. I would much rather pay a couple more bucks for QUALITY food. Drinks are amazing and I love the outdoor seating.
